Your up-line should provide you with an Internet strategy, but many of them just don't have a clue either. They will point to your company replicated website and tell you to refer people to it. They will tell you to use Twitter and Facebook to market the website, but they don't show you how. They will suggest you use Attraction Marketing to get people to come to you. But are they showing you how to do those things?
When I started I did not need suggestions. I needed a simple step-by-step plan. I needed something I could start right away and that I could teach to others. I had no idea how to use Twitter and Facebook to market my opportunity and products. I didn't have a Twitter account and I never bothered to use Facebook.
I will admit I was totally lost and became frustrated. I don't want to think about the time I wasted trying to figure things out. To make a long story short it turns out that both Twitter and Facebook are powerful tools that should be used as part of an Internet marketing strategy. It is important to remember that you must be careful not to offend Twitter followers and Facebook friends with overt marketing.
