Gita explains the important truths about life as Ishwara, Kaala, Jiva, Prakriti and Dharma. Ishwara means the supreme controller of this world. The basic nature of intelligence is Prakriti, by which the world functions. It is on this base that beings are created. The meaning of Kaala is time or age. Holding together different forces in universe is Dharma.

Gita teaches that the purpose of life is to break away from the weaknesses of mortal self and identify oneself with the complete power. Gita is contained Mahabharata, which is a Hindu epic, and contains 700 verses.
